Long before the term “cloud computing” was coined (or even contemplated), TPSi offered its customers “Cloud-based Document Services”.
Since 2002, TPSi’s WebViewTool has been and continues to be our highly popular and CSR-friendly cloud/browser-based application (currently on version 3.0).
WebViewTool allows customers to login to their secure (access-list verified) account, select an application from those we currently produce for them (Bills, Checks, Letters, Statements, etc), upload an application-specific data file (or files), and run the “engine”. Within seconds customers receive (at their browser) a PDF file representing the raw data file that was uploaded.
Since the “engine” for this cloud-based application is the same engine that is used to produce the production paper-based document, the PDF file received by the customer is a replica of what would have been produced at TPSi for normal print and mail cycle production.
TPSi developed this application in 2002 to help new customers monitor and review the progress of application development. Once the applications were promoted to production, our customers requested that we keep the application “live” for short run file inspections, internal document review and on-going testing.
To date, TPSi does not charge for this service.
